Summer magic was going on in the ashram. HE entered in the Vishalakshi mandap. Everyone started clicking HIS pictures. Guruji sat on the chair, but the event of photography was going on. Participants were not ready to stop clicking HIS photographs.

After a moment Guruji sat on the side of chair & started giving poses. He slept on the chair & gave various poses. A photographer needs a good model & if a model is King of the world then photo must be a PERFECT!

Mumbai visit 2011

During a visit to Bombay in 2011 at Nepean sea road in Priyadarshani park Guruji arrived & sat on the seat.

The manager of the park was giving a speech. He is a big devotee of Guruji, thus he kept on talking.

It seemed like a political person is giving speech. Everyone was continuously clapping so that he would stop with his speech. Guruji was laughing. Speech person noticed that peoples are bored; still he was not ready to give up. He kept on talking. Guruji kept hand on chin & with wonder expression & a cute laugh Guruji looked at that person & was listening to his talk.

& finally that person stopped his talk & everyone laughed.

Meanwhile everyone enjoyed Guruji’s that expression.

Difference between You & me

Once a man asked Guruji, “Guruji, What is the difference between you & me?”

Guruji replied, “ Farak itna hi hai ke tum farak dekhte ho aur mai farak nahi dekhta.”

Beard of Sri Sri

When Guruji was too young he started teaching yogas. His name was spread over the world & everyone wanted to see him, meet him. But no one had seen him before. That time he was looking a college going guy. He went to a foreign country for Art of living. Peoples were listening his talk. But surprisingly on one knew that the person who is giving talk is none another than Guruji. After the program gets finished peoples gathered to that `little boy’ & asked “Where is Guruji?”

Guruji laughed & said, “I am Guruji!”

No one could believe that he is Guruji.

Same story used to repeat in different different events.

Peoples used to think the person who has long beard is Yoga teacher or spiritual teacher.

Then Guruji decided to grow Beard for the peoples otherwise they won’t believe I am Guruji.

Sahana Bhavatu

Guruji says before eating anything we must pray & chant the mantra `Sahana Bhavatu’.

When Sri Sri was young since then he got the habit of praying before eating. When Guruji used to offer chocolate to Bhanu maa, she used to get so excited to eat chocolate. As she starts eating chocolate Guruji used to catch her hand & forced her to chant the mantra.

So you also chant the mantra before eating anything.

Transformation

In a talk Guruji was saying, “Now time has come. Whole world will become spiritual & all negative energy will vanish.”

On this knowledge someone asked Guruji, “But Guruji, we see robbery, bribe, and crime everywhere. Everywhere is corruption so how can we say world will be good now?”

Guruji replied, “When a building collapse everywhere dust particles get spread, We can not see anything but dust everywhere. Then only we can make new building on same place, same way now you are looking negativity everywhere. But don’t worry, it is a hint of transformation.”

That person again asked Guruji, “How do you know this?”

Laughingly Guruji answered, “Engineer knows the plan!”

 

Plane accident

Guruji was travelling by airplane with few volunteers. It was a wonderful day. Guruji & volunteers were spending quality time. Plane was getting ready for landing. While pilot started landing the plane a problem in plane engine occurred. Very rapidly plane started moving towards land. Volunteers started screaming. They knew within one minute they will die. All were afraid shouting. Then Guruji said him to stop screaming. Guruji said, “Let’s Meditate.”

 One of the volunteer replied, “How can we meditate Guruji? Within a span we are going to die.”

Guruji answered, “But what if we stay alive after a time? We are wasting out 1 minute time. In this time we can meditate or if we stay alive after accident then we will regret that we wasted or 1 minute of life.”

Everyone agreed to Guruji & did a shortest meditation.

Because of guru’s grace nothing happened to plane & before getting crash plane took off once again.

Wedding Mantras

                Guruji was travelling with some devotees to a place by car. They passed a marriage hall. A wedding was going on in that hall. The pandit was chanting mantras for the wedding. After hearing those mantras Guruji said driver to stop the car.

                Guruji went in that hall & stopped the pandit from chanting the mantras & asked,

“Ye kya hai?”

“Wedding mantra’s.” he replied.

Then Guruji told him, “these are not wedding mantras, ye to shradhah (mantra which use for last ceremony of died people) ke mantra hai.”

That pandit was not well literate in vedas thus instead of giving blessing to the newly wedding he was chanting shraddhah mantras.

In the ashram we have wedding hall where weddings happens in ancient style with correct mantras.

Nobel Prize

Nobel Prize is world’s biggest achievement. The person who has contributed to society for peace & happiness get honored with this award. Mother Teresa, Rabindranath Tagore, C.V. Raman, etc are the winners of this most valuable award.

For 2012 Sri Sri Ravishnakar was nominated for Nobel Prize. This was very special news for AOL family.

Nobel Prize organizers then decided to not give this prize to Sri Sri because of very smart & worth reason.

Organization committee said to Guruji, “We give Nobel Prize for the out standing performer of the year & this award get higher value year by year. Thus we need to search better person for next years Nobel award function. But you Sri Sri ravishankar are the BEST. So if we give you Nobel Prize now then how can we search better person than you for next year?”

On the spot Miracle

In December 2011, Times of India organized an event of Guruji which was names `Mumbai for Kids”. On 24^th of Dec this even took place at Sion. This event was for small kids. Kids were asking questions to Guruji.

A small cute boy asked, “Guruji, What is meditation?”

When he was asking the question he was afraid & was talking very slowly.

To his Question Guruji replied in that child’s way, “Ohh…. So you want to learn Meditation? Do the Art Excel & Teacher will teach you.”

Another boy asked, “I am very lazy boy. I feel drowsy many times which affects on my studies.” This boy was also slow in asking the question. Guruji replied, “Oh… So you feel sleepy? Don’t worry. Stop eating junk food. Do exercise.”

A girl said Guruji, “I have heard you do miracles. Show me a miracle now.”

At that point even I was waiting to see what Guruji reply or which miracle he shows.

Guruji laughed & asked the audience, “How many of you have felt the miracles in their lives after meeting me or coming to Art of living?”

Almost everyone on the ground raised up their hands. With giving a smile Guruji replied to that girl, “See I have done a miracle just now.”

Ambarish Bhaiya

Ambarish Bhaiya is member of Bangalore brothers is from Kalyan city. He stays in Ashram & sings in the satsangs which happens in the ashram. When he came to kalyan I was walking with him on road. He wanted to drink Sugercane juice. It was very special moment with him because he stays with Guruji & I can get hear many stories of SGuruji from him in that time.

He shared one very story which is very rare, & no-one knows & it’s hard to believe.

Ambarish Bhaiya & few ashramites were sitting in a room at night with Guruji. They were doing a great fun. Guruji was making fun of them. It was about 1-2 am of night when Guruji & everyone went in their rooms.

Everyday in Vishalakshi Mandap teachers take warm ups.

Next day early in the morning a teacher was taking warm ups. Ambarish bhaiya was in sleepy mood but he was doing warm ups. He didn’t recognized the teacher. The teacher was looking so handsome. Teacher was in shirt-pant. Long hairs were tied-up like Bawa does. That teacher was so enthusiastic. When Ambarish Bhaiya looked carefully to the teacher he found that teacher was GURUJI.

Aditya Birla

Aditya birla who is owner of IDEA was depressed with his company’s profit.

He met Guruji & shared the entire problem which he was facing. He said, “Guruji, I am in big loss. My company is not making profit. Please give me blessings.”

Aditya was this much streed out that he gave blank cheque to Guruji & said to write any amount. Aditya thought after donating the money he could get the blessings & his business will grow.

On that blank cheque Guruji wrote an amount. The amount was of – 2500 Rs.

This is a Basic course fee.

Guruji said him do the Basic course, everything will be fine.

Ganga

One day Dinesh Bhaiya & Bau was walking near bank of Ganga River with Guruji. A man was sitting near to them. He was famous for his talent of crossing the river by walking through water.

He met Guruji & said, “I can walk on water from this side of Ganga to another side”.

Guruji asked him, “How much time it took to learn this?”

Man replied, “5 years!”

Guruji laughed.

Guruji answered him, ‘Arre murkh, tu wo bridge bhi to use kar sakta tha. Life ke 5 saal barbad kiye.”

When YES + course was going on in the ashram Guruji was supposed to visit youngsters.

When Guruji arrived everyone started clicking photos of him. Almost everyone was clicking his photos. Guruji then started giving poses. He sat on the chair’s hand side portion & gives various photos.

            For every magazine or article Guruji choose his photos. Guruji only choose which photo is right for which article. So next time when you buy Rishimukh see the guruji’s pics carefully because they are chosen by him only.
